Consider it.

Have you prayed about sponsoring a child through Compassion?

If not, you should. If money is tight, they have a program for children who are sponsored by large groups, companies, or sponsors who donate money but do not write to their child. That's where correspondent sponsors step in. A correspondent sponsor is the only person who writes to their particular child--similar to a donor-sponsor. As a correspondent sponsor you build a relationship through periodic letters with your child and pray for the child as he or she prays for you. It's an easy way to get involved with Compassion, or to reach out to additional children even if you can't afford the extra monthly expense. If you have a few minutes of free time every month or so, or if you have children who could learn and grow a lot from reaching out to a child living in poverty in another culture, then signing up to be a correspondent sponsor may be the perfect opportunity to give.

Please pray about this. To learn more or begin giving, you can fill out the online question form or contact Compassion at
